The mini skirt.

You heard me right. Short skirts in fall. Where I live, it's still in the comfortable high 60s to mid 70s. But how to pull off a short skirt in the middle of November?

Fall. To me, it is the most beautiful season. The weather is crisp, charming, and inspiring. Most days are spent making wonderful memories. Fall is also the best season to be original and daring with fashion choices. Why not pair that daring jacket with a new scarf? Are bright colors really out? Who decides rules for fall? It is anything you, an individual, wants to make it be. It is all about harmony. The perfect blend of summer and winter. Polar opposites put into one outfit. That's fall.

Some new trends that you should look out for:

1) Warm Up: Specifically with blazers. This fall, keep cozy with a chic new blazer. Worried about being drowned in all those layers? Try one with a defined waist to maintain your feminine figure. A fall must-have for sure!

2) Plaid: No more reserved for just geeks, this fall expect to see everyone rocking out in plaid. If you don't want to commit to a bold pattern, try more demure, dark colors.

My Closet: The bold yet beautiful Thakoon Masai scarf. A hidden plus: the proceeds will go to benefiting children in Somalia! 250.00
3) Vintage: Accessories with a fifties-esque look? Fabulous, darling. If, like me, grandma didn't leave you strings of pearls, try looking for delicate yet commanding silver hair clips, necklaces, charm bracelets, and rings. Pick neutral colors and designs that will make a statement.
